HALLOWEEN IS FAST APPROACHING AND THERE’S A BIG CHANCE FALL WEATHER IS COMING RIGHT ALONG WITH IT. BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS, GET A HEAD START ON YOUR SEASONAL MAINTENANCE.
Here is a great reference checklist to make sure you’re doing the basics to get your home ready for fall!
Rake - Who doesn’t love the changing leaves? Not your grass that is! Don’t leave fallen leaves in your yard as it can kill your grass and prevent growth in the spring. Rake up those leaves!
Check your gutters - Same leaves that can kill your grass, can most likely clog your gutters which may lead to plenty of other issues. Check your gutters from time to time to prevent buildup.
Roof - While you’re checking the gutters, consider checking your roof too.
You can do your own inspection - Take time to walk around both your interior and exterior and try to look at it with fresh eyes. Check for any damage on the walls, floors or cement outdoors. Fix any cracks or fix loose gravel that could cause a fall.
Check your insurance - Keep your insurance up to date. Make sure your insurance will stand up in a storm and that you will be covered no matter what fall will bring.
