Taking Time: Jessica’s Story

When it comes to assets and things we have, time is the one resource that will never come back. Understanding that importance can influence our decisions in the best way for ourselves. In this article, we will discuss Jessica’s story and how selling as-is saved her time and mental headspace.

Jessica lived alone in her home for a number of years. She had a work assignment come up that would require her to live in a different state for a number of months, she wasn't sure what to do with her home during that time. Luckily enough, some of her cousins were coming down to her area and offered to house sit for her during the time. She gladly accepted and moved on, having it all sorted out.

Once Jessica’s work was done, she was excited to return home. Her cousins let her know they had left the week before. When she arrived back, she was shocked to find how bad of a shape the house was in. Beyond being messy and disorganized, there were parts of the windows broken and leaking pipes. She decided she did not want to deal with the repairs and the time it would take. When she called us at EverSan Cooper, we helped give her a fair offer and saved her plenty of time as she moved on.
